Current Awareness/Information dissemination
Information dissemination is part of the services provided in the Medical Library to enhance the information campaign regarding policies, procedures, services, and other announcements. As part of information dissemination, the library prepares a bibliography of references and/or list of new acquisitions, sends a copy to the departments/offices of the college, and posts a copy in the Library Bulletin of Information. Furthermore, the list of researches is constantly updated. The library also has a Facebook page: WVSU College of Medicine Library (https://www.facebook.com/wvsucom/) for announcements and updates.
This informs library users about new acquisitions in the library through the library website, Facebook page, viber and email.
